Founder and Facilitator of The Center for Transformational Studies, Barbara-Lynn Freed is a Mystic, Spiritual Healer and Teacher, who believes in a holistic approach to life, and has a love for helping people heal their core issues, while developing inner peace, and a higher consciousness.

Her 42-year eclectic background includes a four-year apprenticeship in Native American spirituality and healing, and further studies in Dreams, Astrology, the mystical branches of the world’s major religions, plus a cross-cultural study of ancient and indigenous people’s perception of the land, space, and time. In 1993 she became an ordained inter-faith minister with the Alliance of Divine Love and from 2017 to the present she has studied with a Tibetan Buddhist Bon Lama learning Tibetan Shamanic Qigong, Bardo Yoga, Tantric Relating and Tibetan Dream Yoga.

Since 1992 she has been practicing her Awakening the Heart! Spiritual Healing, an advanced, transformative process that fosters personal growth, self-integration and higher consciousness by transmuting old emotional patterns and replacing them with love, light and life-force energy. Her three-year cross-cultural shamanic apprenticeship specializes in private mentoring & healing sessions, plus independent study. Although no longer giving readings, she is currently teaching private Astrology classes to beginning students and novices.
